A recent visit to the Western Railway Museum (January 28, 2005) showed that the museum is only about 1 mile from restoring the track to this location! Within the year, they will hopefully be running interurbans again to this location.

November 2009: Ties have been replaced, debris cleared and the power poles are only about 1/4 mile away - looking good for extension of service in 2010
