regarding photo w_FerryPt_Jan03, there is an identical railway-onto-barge terminal in San Francisco. here it is (aerial view) using google maps: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=sf,+ca&ie=UTF8&t=h&om=1&ll=37.771194,-122.385346&spn=0.00254,0.003589&z=18&iwloc=addr However, the SF terminal is in better shape; you can walk on it and look at the machinery.

The link to the Barge Terminal in SF would not work, Can you make this an active link on the page? My friend Rubin's Dad used to load trains on the ferrys at the Richmond Terminal in Your Pic. I have reacent Photos of it, taken 2-3 months ago. I live in Vallejo Ca, about 25 miles frome there.

Yeah the link doesn't work, but if you look in the link, you can see the co-ordinates. So just go to Google Maps (maps.google.com) and enter 37.771194,-122.385346 into the search box.
