Removal of Harrison St. bridge between Oakland and Alameda in 1923 resulted in loss of Oakland via Alameda Pier line and Alameda part of SP streetcar line. The system is shown as prevailed from Nov. 8, 1926 with tracks used on Webster St. south of 20th St. and May 9, 1931 after which the Ellsworth St. line was shortened one block to Bancroft Way. See Red Trains in the East Bay, Robert S. Ford.
