This is a view of what is being called the concrete bunker. According to the maps, this was the upper portion of a cable tram which traversed down to about the middle of where Hwy 13 is now. On the right side was a conveyor tram which went down to over Hw

Very easy to find. Check out the large Laundry Farm map located in this section. It's labeled "Concrete Bunker" at about the 600' level. It's in Leona Heights park in Oakland right near where 13 and 580 come together. Fascinating area.

Amusingly enough, while researching the general area using the Mix map, I came across a Library of Congress photo showing the Ladies of Mills College dancing up from the shore of Lake Aliso for their spring pageant. Way in the background high up the hill was a very discernable view of the aerial tramway and an adjacent building. Are there any other photos of this operation?
